Teacher-managed content

Only upload words and sentences you have permission to share. Keep pupil names, contact details, sensitive information and inappropriate content out of school labels, class labels and spelling lists. You are responsible for the material you share through your class link.

Protect your access

Teacher sign-in links are private. Do not send them to pupils. Class and weekly links are read-only, but anyone who has them can see the published content.

Learning support

Spellwell supports practice; it does not assess a child’s ability or replace a teacher’s judgement. Local progress can be lost when browser storage is cleared.

Spellwell is created, operated and supported by Mark Brackenborough, a parent and developer. For support or questions about the service, email support@spellwell.uk.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Spellwell available and accurate, but cannot promise uninterrupted service. Features and these terms may change as the service improves. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
